super simple pesto beans

Hello blog friends!  I hope you are doing well.  I just finished a wicked muscle conditioning and boxing class at my gym.  For dinner I wanted something easy because it hurts to lift my arms!

Super Simple Pesto Beans

Ingredients:

6 tbsp olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves
2 1/2 cups fresh basil
1/2 cup pine nuts
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Using food processor or blender, mix all ingredients

2. Mix pesto with a mild bean (navy or cannellini)

3. Enjoy over salad or pasta

Ok, they don’t photograph well and end up looking like little larvae things but I swear they taste good!  To my fellow Canadian bloggers and readers, have an amazing Canada Day!

This IS simple. I heart pesto too. Love recipes which can be easily fit into my schedule.
