I’ve never been to Mexico but I imagine it’s quite beautiful. And I’m certain the cuisine is amazing too; it is the land of chocolate, chia and tequila after all.
When I came home from the gym this morning I was damn cold and dreaming of some place warm and sunny. Since I can’t get to Mexico anytime soon, I made a delicious, spicy chocolate smoothie that satisfies the urge.

Mexican Chocolate Smoothie
Ingredients
1 frozen banana or 1/2 avocado
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 cups almond milk
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp raw cacao
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of cayenne
Directions
1. Combine all ingredients and blend.
2. Pour in glass and sprinkle with more cinnamon and cayenne
