sweet-tart smoothie

As someone who is perpetually single on Valentine’s Day one would think I may be slightly bitter about it.  Alas, I manage to remain perfectly sweet with a hint of sass.  I love V-Day and all that it stands for, a day filled with love and chocolate sounds like perfection to me!

For those of you madly in love and those of you bitter against it, allow me to present this smoothie, a little bit sweet with a bit of lip-puckering tartness.  Perfect for Valentine’s Day and whatever your mood may be!

Sweet-Tart Smoothie

Ingredients

1 banana
½ cup fresh orange juice (if using high-powered blender such as a Blendtec use whole orange)
½ cup cranberries
½ cup raspberries
½ cup coconut water
1 scoop Sunwarrior Vanilla protein powder

Directions

1. If using high powered blender, blend orange first. Otherwise, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

as another single on V day I can say it’s just another day to me, could care less…yea callous I know…. but the smoothie looks YUMMMY!!!
just need to get some cranberries and I’ll give this a try

How fun! Having been with the same person for half my life, and us somehow being apart due to travel on many a Valentine’s Day, it’s not really important around here. I do love the smoothie, though :D
